Wipeout!
When the DJ plays the song, you know the game is on. Skate your heart out to the classic, driving rhythm of “Wipeout!” but when the DJ yells out the word, everybody has to drop to the floor. Be careful for curve balls like “White House” because the DJ will try to trick you into falling at the wrong time and getting you out of the game.
4 Corners
This one’s a total classic! All skaters on the floor roll until the music stops. When everything goes silent, everyone goes to one of the four corners. A designated person yells out 1, 2, 3, or 4 with their eyes closed. If you’re in the corner they call, you are out of there! The game goes on until there is only one person left. It could be you!
Shoot the Duck
It’s just like musical chairs, but on skates! When the DJ plays the music, everyone skates rapidly around a circle of chairs. When the music cuts out, the mad dash is on. The person left standing after all the chairs are taken is out.
Limbo
Make sure you stretch before this one starts, because when the limbo stick comes out, there’s only one question… How low can you go? All you have to do is skate under the stick, but there’s a catch. Every time you pass under, the stick gets lower. The more times you go under the lower and lower it goes until a champion is crowned!
